Description: Japan America Society of Minnesota organizes a time and place for people to be able to get together and practice Japanese language with their peers. Many JETs attend.

There is no charge for these meetings; all that is required is knowledge of the Japanese language! Any level of proficiency is welcome. This group is meant for people to practice the Japanese language in a fun, open, and free environment. We will meet every Saturday around 3:00 pm at the Espresso Royale Cafe in downtown Minneapolis. Description: Come one, come all! FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WELCOME! PLEASE BRING A DISH TO SHARE! Do you have fun memories of Hanami parties in Japan? We do! Every spring, we hope to bring back the fun of Hanami time by pulling out the blue tarps and picnicking in a beautiful blooming park in the city. Everyone brings a scrumptious dish to share, games to play, and stories to share! We may not have the abundance of gorgeous cherry blossoms, but we sure do have Hanami spirit!

Description: Ever wish you could have that Tonkatsu in Japan once again? Do you sometimes dream about eating Okonomiyaki, but feel discouraged because you have no idea what ingredients to buy? Fear not, we are here to help! Once a month, we will have a gathering at United Noodle to help you find those ingredients. We will eat early lunch at their food court and then go about finding those ingredients so you can make your food!
